- Title: Serval kitten/young cat wanted

- I’m looking for a young serval, preferably a kitten, but I will take any under a year old into consideration. I would like to save money by not buying directly from a breeder (most kittens seem to be $5000 to $7000) and by purchasing possibly an older kitten.
I live in West Virginia, and there are no restrictions on having a pet serval here. I have a lot of free time to spend taking care of a serval.
I know servals have become more popular as pets in the last few years, and there is a good chance that they have been kept illegally, in states that don’t allow them. If anyone is reading this, and didn’t know about their state’s exotic pet laws until it was too late, it’s best to put it up for adoption than have it taken away.
That’s why I’m posting here, just in case someone has a serval kitten that needs a new home. Even if it was just too much work, I will consider it.
If anyone decides to contact me about their serval cat, please know that you would have to keep it for a few weeks until I finish getting an enclosure built.
