- I got this baby for myself recently. We were under the impression that our adults were both females... we have since attempted to sex them (that was NOT fun!) And we now believe they are both males.. so that means with the addition of this one, we now have THREE males.
This baby is bottle raised. He is new to me. He is Not quite as tame as I had hoped. I can pick him up and carry him or hold him... and he is calm enough... but he is not quite as relaxed as I had hoped for. He seems to prefer men somewhat as his previous owner was a guy. Unfortunately, I am not a guy. My background is also in North American porcupines, which are en ENTIRELY different experience.
My original intention was to get Sherman and then get a bottle baby female and then sell my adults that I have had a few years. I was hoping Sherman would be tame enough to be true petting zoo ready... but he is not quite there and not sure he will be with the time I have to devote to the attempt.
His name is Sherman the Tank. (since he is heavily armored) I have additional photos and more information if you are interested. He is about 7 weeks old.

Can be shipped at buyers expense and buyer can set up shipping. If the buyer does not want to set up shipping, I can and will do so at buyers expense. Shipping would most likely be $350 to cover crate, vet & flight.
