- I have my two chinchillas for sale. The female is black and has had 2 sets of babies that I know of. She gets along great with my gray male (which is why I got him neutered because clearly they got along too well). The female likes to cuddle more, the male likes to jump around more. I am also giving the cage, food, treats, toys, hay, etc away with them. They are both very sweet and I am not sure how old they are, as I rescued them, but I suspect they are no older than 5-7 years old. $400.
