*Calf was left on mom 2 days to receive colostrum. We also gave the calf 4 units of camel plasma, directly following birth. This is a precautionary method we provide for/to all of our newborn camel calves to ensure the best health & strong start from birth.
* Calf is currently on the bottle and on exhibit in the petting area of our wild animal park. He is well socialized, has a strong frame structure and his hump is filling out/up nicely. Healthy, strong appetite. Both parents live on grounds & both mother & father are fully trained ride camels. Calf is used for hands~on animal encounter(s) with students on field trips to park. Great, mild-mannered disposition.
