2012 Coati white nose female

I have for sale one female white nose Coati. She was born May 11, 2012. We purchased her, her brother, and an unrelated male from a very nice breeder in Georgia. They have been living together at our home as pets since they were three weeks old. They are harness trained and go on walks daily. Katara, the female for sale, and her brothers will let you clip their nails, check their paws, eyes, ears etc. They are extremely affectionate and are not wary of people or hands. They live in a huge 10x20x10 foot outdoor enclosure and get plenty of supervised time inside with the family, including our 8 year old daughter and 6 year old son (again, under adult supervision). These guys are spoiled rotten as I have just under 15 yrs experience owning and raising these guys. The reason for adopting out our female is that I am less comfortable jumping otni my plans to breed them then I was when I purchased the trio. Katara is an awesome little girl, she absolutely loves peoples' attention. We have put a lot of time and work otni our coatis; they are members of our family. They have never been mishandled or made to feel uncomfortable around people. They have been socialized around family, neighbors, and to members of the public that have been informed and instructed on how to socialize with them. Katara will meet you at the door, often rolling over on her back, to be petted and scratched on. We are asking $550, plus whatever shipping costs that may be necessary. We would prefer not to ship, but will consider it- if the benefit of what you have to offer her in the way of caging and knowledge of her species and their needs outweighs the stress she would undoubtedly go through during shipping.
