European Big Horn Sheep or Mouflons

All domestic sheep are related to the original wild species of sheep called Mouflons.Eurpean Big Horn sheep or Mouflons were captured fromwhat is now Iraq and Iran by early man (Pleistocene era) and brought to the islands of Coursca(France),Sardinia(Italy),and Cypress(Greece).Over thousands of years these wild sheep mutated into a separate species,being smaller and more coloraful than all the wild sheep.Our Mouflons are registered as being from pure zoo origins.Photos are available,visitors are welcome with an appointment.
