A male serval born November 5, 2011 and hand raised. He was imported from Africa and is out of wild caught parents. He is totally unrelated to any other serval in North America. He is the L. serval serval subspecies originating from South Africa. He is calm, but hissy since the importation. He will make a superior breeder, but will take some time and patience to regain his trust to be handleable again. I have been importing animals for 20 years and this is the first time I have ever ligitimately seen the opportunity to get wild caught bloodlines that were hand raised.
