Blue is a gray wolf hybrid, we acquired him in May 2018 at approx. 6 weeks old (he is around 11 months old) to be an animal ambassador and was used for hundreds of educational programs. Now, he is retired and in search for his forever home. He spends his nights inside with me and days outside.
Blue is very aware of strangers and although he is not aggressive he can be very timid however he is friendly and likely to come around after a couple days or weeks of being at a new home.
He is neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations including rabies. Also current on flea, tick, and heart-worm prevention.
He can be very loving but will never be a family pet like a regular dog would be. New owner needs to be aware there will be a transitioning period, moving homes can be stressful for such intelligen animals only proper training and patience will speed the process along. Forcing yourself onto animals like this may scare them, and a scared animal is an unpredictable animal. For this reason we are seeking people with previous experience, and a solid general understanding of hyprid's needs and behaviors.
