With a heavy heart we are looking to rehome little Reggie. My wife is currently pregnant, and when our baby is born it’s going to be hard to sacrifice the time and put forth the effort that Reggie deserves.
In addition, Reggie is a 9 month old black-cap capuchin monkey. My wife and I have diapered Reggie since he was 2 weeks of age. He bathes a few times a week and is to the point that he really enjoys them. Also, he has been accustomed to clothing since he was a baby.
Furthermore, Reggie has a diet that includes 80% (Mazuri 5MA5) that he eats throughout the day. In the afternoon/evening he is given lean proteins, fresh fruits/veggies, and healthy nuts. This is done in that order to promote a healthy well balanced diet.
Moreover, Reggie has been learning commands from an earlier age. Currently he knows shoulder, up, down, no, come on, kennel, night, and to shake for a treat.
Ultimately, I am no rush to pack Reggie up and ship him out the door. I want to be sure that he is going to a forever home in which someone with love him with all their heart. I will be thoroughly screening all potential candidates.
I am asking $6,800. No money will ever be asked upfront, only in person when you see Reggie. I also accept credit cards for your convenience. That is absolutely a fair price for a young capuchin. I have invested a lot more money than what I am asking.
*Please, know your state, county, and city laws regarding ownership of non-human primates. I cannot stress this enough, because if NHP are banned or you’re in need of a license, the state wildlife agency will potential find out and confiscate him from your home. It’s not worth the risk, and I will be sure to help you with this process.
