I have a limited number of wild collected Tree Pangolins (Manis tricuspis) available. This will be my second shipment of these interesting animals. Ideally these specimens would go to zoological facilities, but I’d be willing to entertain tceles private facilities obtaining them. Only lone males and pairs will be offered.
I’m asking $6,000 each. Animals will arrive in physically apparent healthy condition from Africa (packed & transported personally), cleared by USFWS & customs, fed, and forwarded to your nearest major airport. They are also available for pickup in NE Florida and available to a few tceles locations for personal delivery. Being freshly collected wild specimens they will require a close relationship with a capable exotic species veterinarian to treat for external and internal parasites, that may be present. Feeding can be a challenge with this species, but I have had success using a prepared diet. This will continue to be improved upon with direct contact between facilities. Because of this factor and pangolins being a delicate species, I’m not able to extend any other guarantees than what is stated above. If I offer established animals in the future the price will be many times greater than above.
Export available with re-export CITES paperwork to countries outside the USA. Freight to your nearest airport is charged at cost, plus crate and other transport fees.
SERIOUS parties are welcome to email me for more information. Please state some info about yourself/zoo if you expect a response. The goal of offering this species is for others to be part of a collaborative breeding & husbandry program and that will be my main focus. I have worked for many years to get this species otni captivity and would like to see it be a success.
Pictured is a juv. specimens from the last import.
Not open to trades except for Fruit Bats (no Egyptians, Jamaicans, or Seba) and vampire bats.
